Pix It Mommy!

I actually like to rake leaves. I enjoy it. There’s something very gratifying about cleaning up chunks of my yard. I especially like it when there is a thick blanket of leaves covering the yard. So often I ignore them until the leaves are nice and thick and then I tackle the job. Plus there’s plenty to be said for raking it all at once rather than raking over and over as the leaves slowly fall from the trees. But I have been doing a lot of raking these past few weeks anyway. Only because my kids like to play in the leaf piles so much. Every day when Amy and Scott get home from school they ask me to rake up more leaves because the old leaf pile is getting flat! I’m happy to have everyone outside playing while they still can. Soon enough we’ll be stuck inside through the long cold winter. Blah!!
