The End of Blogging??
Nah, I doubt it. But I am growing quite weary of it. I still enjoy sharing the highs and lows of our lives with family and friends. But I am getting really bored with reading tons of other blogs. I subscribe to at least 15 blogs. And when ever they are updated I go through and read them. But man, it can be so time consuming. And sometimes really boring. So what’s the point?? Do I really want to sort through other’s blogs in order to find anything entertaining to read? Do I have so few friends that I have to make friends on the internet?! No way man! Don’t get me wrong here. I still really enjoy keeping up with family and close friends through blogs. My family and friends are spread out all over the United States. If it wasn’t for blogs, I’d hardly know what’s going on with them. I’m thankful for blogs. But I don’t want blogs to rule my free time any more.
Goodbye random blogs! I’ve got better things to do!

I’m with you. I’ve recently pared down my list of subscribed feeds.
And in fact, your post inspired me to go through the list and pare it down some more.

Yeah, I agree. I went through my random blogs a month or two ago and eliminated the majority of them. I had gone crazy subscribing, and if I didn’t keep up, sometimes I’d have 100 unread posts or more! Ridiculous. Unsubscribing to Mental Floss went a long way toward fixing that, since they post like 15-20 times a day sometimes.
