Sweet Suprise May 22, 2008

Today I received a sweet surprise from my mother-in-law, Christy. (I’m sure my father-in-law David had a hand in it too!) Dan came home from work with a big bag of assorted Cheese Cake Factory cheese cakes that Christy ordered for me. I found out that a few weeks ago she hatched this plan to help me feel better because she knew all the stress I’ve been under lately. Boy was she right! And boy did this surprise make my day!

For one, I’ve never even been to The Cheese Cake Factory. So I’ve never partaken of their luscious cheese cakes. Though I have been to their web site to drool over the pictures. Here are the cheese cakes that Christy hand selected for me:

Chocolate Mousse Cheese Cake
White Chocolate Raspberry Truffle
Key Lime Cheese Cake
Adam’s Peanut Butter Cup Fudge Ripple
Godiva Chocolate Cheese Cake

I won’t tease you with all the pictures, but I’ve got to show you the Godiva Cheese Cake. You can bet I’ll be saving this one for last!

Thank you so much Christy. This surprise really means a lot to me. I SO enjoy cheese cakes, but it also means a lot to me that you’ve been thinking about me and were concerned. I love you!

Chocolate may not help, but it never hurts!

Yeah, if the cheese cakes could all get together and watch my kids while I take a vacation for a few days, that would be super great!

And yes, each slice came with some whipped cream on the side.

I tried the peanut butter cup one last night. Yummy!

I just want to point out that she got 5 SLICES of cheesecake, not 5 cheesecakes. That would be overkill.

Death by cheese cake? Wow, what a way to go!
