House Update Again June 1, 2008
We very well may be moving this weekend. We’re going to try really hard to get the basics finished so we can move this Friday and Saturday. (Side note, this Friday, June 6th is my and Dan’s 10th anniversary.) If we can’t have things ready by this weekend, then hopefully we can move by early to mid next week. We shall see. This week should be our busiest yet.
We took a family trip over to the new house to look around and take some more pictures.

Here’s the kitchen. There used to be a wall and cabinets above the sink on the right side of the picture. The wall was knocked down and the cabinets taken out so that it opens up into the family room. We will extend the counter top and make a bar there.

I found the before and after shots are especially interesting. I like how you have preserved the “character” and “charm” of the place, especially in the curbside view.

You know, and extended counter top with stools. Where kids can eat breakfast and snacks. There will be no hanging wine glasses and bottles of wine for sure!
