I wasn't going to do this one originally, but I wanted an easier game so I thought I'd spend some quick time on this game. My aim is a cultural victory. I've been doing that a lot lately, and I think (at least the way I play), I should be able to do okay here.

The stated aim is to dominate the "New World", since this is a Terra map, but I don't plan on playing that way, unless the "Old World" is really small.

They gave us a worker to start out with, which makes this an even easier position I think. In looking at the tech tree, we also have The Wheel. I start out with Agriculture, which leads to Animal Husbandry (for the pigs) as well as Pottery (essential for my cottagey strategy). The hut gives 108 gold.

3920 - Well that was quick (and close).

It's nice to say that she has so much diarrhea of the mouth that she needs a scroll bar! I also see an orange border across the sea to the east. Looks like Peter.

3720 - Agriculture ->Animal Husb.

3680 - Buddhism FIDAL but not by Izzy. I'm figuring that I will have to convert to whatever she gets.

3600 - On second thought, Izzy just converted to Buddhism, so it was probably her. I also meet Frederick.

3440 - Animal Husb->Pottery. I meet Asoka.

2920 - I went Pottery->Bronze Wroking, and started on a settler, which founded York in the north in 2920.

I'm really hemmed in here. Going to need to expand quickly and/or get out the proverbial hammer.

2560 - Writing->Alphabet. Sign Open Borders with everyone.

2200 - Hinduism FIDAL errr Berlin. Frederick is now Hindu.

2040 - Nottingham founded

1880 - Alphabet comes in, but before I even get the notification, Peter takes the opportunity of tech trading to not ask for a trade, but to DEMAND Writing. I tell him to stick it, and that seals his deal as doomed.
