Q: What does Texas have in common with William Wallace?<\/p>\n

A: They are both things that you should not mess with.<\/p>\n

In fact, I have learned that there are 3 things that you should definitely not mess with:<\/p>\n

1. William Wallace
2. William Wallace’s girl
3. William Wallace’s freedom (err I mean FREEEEEEEEDOM!)<\/p>\n

And yes, I did see Braveheart<\/a> on TV the other day, why do you ask? Actually we were watching X-2 <\/a>but flipping to Braveheart on commercials and did get to see the famous FREEEEEEDOM yell.<\/p>\n

I actually learned the other day that “Don’t mess with Texas<\/a>” was a slogan invented by the Texas Department of Transportation to stop litter on Texas highways (kind of like “Don’t trash the ‘Nati) and they own a federal trademark on that phrase. <\/p>\n

So, the other day S and I were unloading the dishwasher. He was putting away all of the silverware and I was putting away everything else. He kept interrupting me to tell me where stuff went or how I should put it away. What could I do? So I busted out with “Hey. Hey. Hey. You do your job…. and I’ll do mine” Good Jeff Hilt times….<\/p>\n

In other news, this morning I weighed in at an all-time low of 188.8. Well, that’s not an all-time low, my all-time low is probably closer to 8.8, but this is probably close to a 10-year low.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
