Dalton (General Young Women President), called &#8220;Return to Virtue&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>I liked how she talked about how you get desensitized to things, whether it be sex, violence, or whatever.\u00c2\u00a0 She also referenced Lehonti and Amalickiah up on the\u00c2\u00a0 mountain (which I <a href=\"http:\/\/www.regoarrarr.com\/blog\/2008\/12\/general-conference-talk-christian-courage-the-price-of-discipleship.html\">talked about last time<\/a>).  Her quote was <\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Could it be that first we tolerate, then accept, and eventually embrace the vice that surrounds us?<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>She also talked about her &#8220;training&#8221; program from the scriptures<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/scriptures.lds.org\/en\/dc\/121\/45#45\">Let virtue garnish thy thoughts unceasingly.<\/a>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/scriptures.lds.org\/en\/dc\/25\/13#13\">Cleave unto [your] covenants.<\/a>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/scriptures.lds.org\/en\/dc\/45\/32#32\">Stand . . . in holy places.<\/a>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/scriptures.lds.org\/en\/dc\/25\/10#10\">Lay aside the things of [the] world.<\/a>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/scriptures.lds.org\/en\/mosiah\/4\/10#10\">Believe that ye must repent.<\/a>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/scriptures.lds.org\/en\/dc\/20\/77#77\">Always remember him and keep his commandments.<\/a>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/scriptures.lds.org\/en\/a_of_f\/1\/13#13\">If there is anything virtuous, lovely, or of good report or praiseworthy, . . . seek after these things.<\/a>\n<li>Now more than ever before, it is time to respond to Moroni\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s call to &#8220;awake, and arise\u00e2\u20ac\u009d and to <a href=\"http:\/\/scriptures.lds.org\/en\/moro\/10\/30-31#30\">lay hold upon every good gift, and touch not the evil gift, nor the unclean thing.<\/a>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In my ongoing posts about General conference talks, this week was from Elaine S.
