The basic premise is that this guy started out with one red paperclip, and he&#8217;s going to keep trading things for it until he gets a house.<\/p>\n<p>It reminds me of something that &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/gp\/product\/0440430712\/103-2817597-6796617?v=glance&#038;n=283155\">The Great Brain<\/a>&#8221; did in one of those books.  I forget exactly how it went down but it was something like this.<\/p>\n<p>So I want to do something similar to this but am having trouble thinking of a good starting item.  It has to be crappy enough to start out with something trivial, but I&#8217;d like something with some panache.  Of course what I&#8217;d really like is to be able to put the correct accentuating mark over panache.<\/p>\n<p>So leave me some comments of some good items.
